Elm USA, The truth about the Lite Conversion
Elm USA conversion offer, value for money ?
Well ELM are at it again, they want to charge you from !! $400 to convert your Eco Pro 2 to a Eco Pro Lite, and what they don't tell you is you can do it yourself for nothing, yes 5 mins and a screw driver and you can do it your self.
So the conversion process has a number of steps ELM wll perform,
1. Remove the old solution system, well not needed, it is controlled by a solenoid, once the connector is removed from the main board it will no longer function, it makes not difference if it is removed.
2. They will update the firmware, they update the firmware to auto open durring a cleaning cycle, so for a 1 min cycle it will open at 30 seconds for you to add more solution. hmm you already have a 30 second cycle button so the firmware update is not needed.
So basically they want you to be without your machine for upto 4 weeks, pay at least $400 !
